Breathe with Nasya’s Breath
Facilitating mindfully led nature based workshops in the depths of Cornwall for those with Chronic Pain
"The pain cannot be ignored or wished away. But underneath the clanging noise of the pain there is a deep wholeness that can be re-inhabited if, just for a moment, we could approach willingly, sense precisely and befriend tenderly the body that seems to be letting us down so badly." – Mark Williams

Nasya's Breath workshops integrate evidence-based research with innovative approaches, combining new pain science and eco-psychology. These workshops adopt a holistic perspective on pain management, using a bio-psycho-social model to enhance participants' understanding of themselves. The primary goal is to empower individuals with knowledge and skills while fostering a sense of awareness through the holding of natures embrace.
The workshops feature a variety of activities, including brief lessons on pain science, grounding exercises, meditations, forest bathing and a time to be deeply heard. Participants are encouraged to connect more deeply with nature, following the five pathways to nature connectedness. This immersive experience allows individuals to spend meaningful time with nature. The guided practices aim to support participants to tap into their own body's natural sooth system, promoting a deepening connection to not only nature but themselves, even in the presence of pain.
The workshops run over a 10-week period and last 4 hours per session, in order to get the best of your experience we ask that you attend all that you can. Warm herbal teas and a vegetarian lunch included.
